Contract Roles

Computer Network Defence are specialists in placing staff into contract roles, we have developed an enviable position within the community due to the support and care we provide to our contract staff.  The vast majority of our contract staff become associates within the company and stay with us for many successive roles over many years.  To this date not a single Computer Network Defence Ltd Associate has moved away from us

All contract staff will have their credentials and certifications checked before starting with us, in addition they will have a face to face interview with one or more of the Company Directors

Never Contracted Before?
Whilst we won't act as an umbrella company, we will support you in what can be a challenging transition, providing help and advice and even mentors.  Many of our contractors have come directly from the military, with no commercial experience, we guide them through all the red tape and legal requirements.  If required we will do full PAYE for short term contracts

We will always advise you of the rate we are being paid and aim to never take more than 10% for our part.  Please note that for full manpower solutions the 10% may be exceeded due to financial risk risk with SLA's and the management overheads

If you are unhappy with a role we will negotiate a change at the next renewal

We will not submit you for a role without your authorisation

We reserve the right to not submit you, if we feel you are unsuitable for a role

We will always request feedback from the client, whether you are successful or not (We cannot guarantee the client providing it)
 
Associates
Many of our contractors become associates, this usually occurs after successfully renewing a contract and contributing to the collective effort.  Associates influence the direction of the company and in return we move mountains to keep them in contract.

Substitution
When you take time off for holiday or sickness, we will work with you to identify suitable substitues.  Whilst we make every effort to keep people in contract, inevitably there will be gaps, when this occurs, we will notify all the other contractors and suggest they take advantage by taking a holiday, courses etc, this retains an income for the person out of contract.  Through the Karma principle when the situation is reversed they are approached in the same manner.
